Privacy
A short account of what this site stores, what advertisers may store, and how Amazon links work.
Your lists
Names, addresses, and gift notes are saved in your browser’s local storage on this device. They are not sent to our servers. Clearing site data, using another browser, or switching phones will look like a blank planner. Export a CSV from this year’s list if you want a copy.
Visit count
The footer shows a single anonymous count of page views. We do not store IP addresses, names, or anything that identifies a visitor.
Google AdSense
This site uses Google AdSense to show advertisements. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings.
Amazon Associates
Gift suggestions link to Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com, depending on whether you choose the UK or the US. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon may collect data according to its own privacy notice when you follow those links.
Sharing
The share icons in the footer open the social network you choose so you can post a link to Christmas Buddy. Those networks have their own terms. We do not post on your behalf.
